Members

Fourteen names
on the cabin wall.

Every camp member gets a roster entry — name, role, years at the camp, current emergency contact. Members keep their own entries updated. Visitors see only the roster grid; full contact info is gated behind the member login.

Every season,
its own album.

Members upload 100+ photos every fall after the hunts. The site auto-archives the prior season and surfaces the new one. Each year becomes its own browseable album. Nothing is lost — you can still browse 2014's mule deer trip ten years later.

Every harvest,
logged forever.

Each member's harvest gets logged with date, species, weight, score, location, and witnesses. Becomes the camp's permanent record. No more arguing over who took the biggest buck in 2014 — it's on the wall.

Bow opener weekend — what we learned

Beautiful weather Friday and Saturday, blew up Sunday morning. Three bow shots taken between Devon, James, and me. Devon's 8-pt at 22 yards on Ridge stand 3 — clean shot, perfect recovery 80 yards downhill. The new ladder stand at Long Bay is producing — Henrik glassed eight deer from it on Saturday but didn't draw. Note for next year: the trail behind the cabin needs more clearing earlier in the season. Brought the chainsaw too late. Cabin in good shape — Anders refilled the woodbox before he left, much appreciated.

Pre-season cleanup — all 14 members

First time all 14 members made it to a single weekend in three years. Cabin painted exterior, west wall and trim. Roof patched two spots near the chimney. Cole and Anders cleared the back trail from the road to Long Bay. Henrik fixed the dock cleat. James restocked the camp store with shells, fire starters, and the good coffee. Marcus's wife sent two pies — note for next year, send a thank-you card. Burned the brush pile Saturday night, big fire, ten members around it.

Stone fireplace, walnut beams, crimson Chesterfields. Where every season begins.
Kitchen
Cast-iron stove, brass-hung pots, walnut cabinets. Stocked at all times.
Dining hall
Long harvest table for ten under a brass chandelier. Sunday breakfasts.
Bunk rooms
Twelve bunks across three rooms. Crimson wool blankets, brass reading lamps.
